    My Thoughts

The 7 Events? What are "The Seven Events"? My only answer is... I don't know. A long time ago my grandmother impacted my life by reading me...

    Buton

Sometimes the wind makes us feel relaxed; a cool winter breeze to emancipate us from our loneliness and allow us to feel complete. But, like all things, wind is two-faced. At times wind can be cold and heartless; relentlessly beating down the wall of our homes with an apparent never-ending efficiency. . .
It is close- only separated by eight inches of gypsum and fiberglass. And somehow, it still steals from us the very life and warmth that we try so boldly to share. It is the heart that the wind eviscerates; slowly starting a deep shadow of a fear that grips us and chains us to the things which we have most earnestly stripped ourselves of. This fear is of the uncertain. What if this wall breaks, says the heart. What if this feeling, this irregular emotion that encompasses heart and mind, doesn't go away, says the heart. What if all this isn't real. . .

    says the heart. . .

Yet for some reason our heart continues to beat; relentlessly driving the wind back across the yard into the dark sky and out into the ominous clouds from which we believe it came. It is the heart's hope, it's faith in the fact that it will endure that convinces the heart of it's capability to will the frore wind from whence it came. I will not go. . .

    says the heart. . .

And with the loud, thick palpitations, it finds a recourse; a faith in the things that are still to come. It knows that this man is not done. This body is not dead. . .

    says the heart. . .

As we feel the cold, heavy poundings of fear at the doors to whatever it may be pursuing, we are reminder by our efficacious four-chamber organ that all hope is not lost; all walls have not crumbled. And in blatant disrespect for the cunning attacks, we stand in reliance on our heart, and on our GOD.

1JO 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
